An organized camping trek is one of the ways our customers are able to experience the magic of the Himalayas. Our self-sufficient itinerary allows one to experience the joys of camping along with Himalayan travel. A group leader or sardar, assistant guides, cooks, kitchen staff, and porters will accompany you on your journey. This form of travel allows for the most flexibility, as camp is constructed each evening and packed up each morning for that day's travel. Your morning wake-up call is a hot cup of tea brought to you at your bedside. One half-hour later a bucket of warm wash water is ready for a morning cleanup. A hearty breakfast comes before packing up camp for the daily adventure. You will pack your personal belongings then our porters and Sherpas will take care of your duffel bags and the camp. All you will need for the day may be carried in your daypack. Then it is off on the Himalayan highway where you will experience beautiful scenery, an abundance of birds and wildlife, and an ancient way of life. Lunch will be served at the half way point for the day's travel. In the late afternoon or evening you will arrive at your final destination for the day. Now it is time to rest and relax and think of all you experienced. Your crew will set up camp. Light snacks, hot tea, coffee and juice will be served while your kitchen staff prepares a nutritious meal for your dinner. You may be invited to join in dancing and singing Nepali trekking songs for evening entertainment or retire to your tent for a rest. Organized trekking is available throughout most areas of Nepal. We highly recommend a fully organized trek for more remote regions.
