The Langtang region is one of the most popular treks in the Himalayas. This region was designated as the first Himalayan National Park in 1970/71. The Langtang region lies north of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. We begin our trek by driving towards the northwest of Kathmandu to the mountain village of Dhunche, the capital city of this region. The trek commences from here to the farmland, villages and forests of rhododendron, conifer, bamboo, oaks and pines. People's life and culture, foothills and mountains, rich flora and fauna are the beauty of this trek. Langtang Valley, Gossiankunda Pass [4610m], Ganja-La Pass [5106m] and Helabu are the special attractions of this region. If your trek in the Langtang region includes Ganja-La Pass, please consider it a difficult trek.
