This trek offers a chance to learn the culture and traditions of the Sherpa people through visiting ancient monasteries and villages.
This region also has many varieties of pheasants and birds, and the Himalayan meadows blooming with flowers provide a beautiful setting for yaks and herds of mountain goats. The marvelous mountain views, including Mt. Kanchanjunga (8586m.) and Mt. Makalu (8463m.) provide for an interesting and enjoyable trek. Also visible are Dudkunda and the Everest region at clear and close range.
The trek starts from and ends at Phaplu, and you will fly into and out from Kathmandu.
